ALLY & CHARLES
This intimate elopement for Ally & Charles called for wedding flowers that felt refined and elegant, with a distinctive contemporary edge. Set against the breath taking backdrop of the National Portrait Gallery, the floral design was carefully considered to complement both the grandeur of the venue and the beautiful detailing at the waistline of the bride’s dress.
Drawing on the couple’s chosen colour palette and inspiration imagery, the bouquet was designed to feel lush, romantic, and modern. Soft, delicate blooms such as orchids were paired with more sculptural elements, including anthuriums, calla lilies, and draping amaranthus to create texture, movement, and gentle drama. The rich tones of deep reds and burgundies were balanced with blush pinks, soft greens, and crisp whites, echoing the mood of the day and subtly tying in with thoughtful tartan accents.
The buttonhole reflected the same elegant, understated, and slightly unconventional aesthetic, bringing a sense of cohesion while still celebrating individuality.
The result was a beautifully curated floral story: sophisticated, personal, and perfectly suited to a stylish city-centre elopement.
